We've seen some really cool fan art in the Dice Throne Community, and we LOVED seeing the entries from our fans and their families in the Costume Contest. So we're once again asking for you to show off your creativity, in the Marvel Dice Throne Coloring Contest!
Q. What If... my coloring is terrible?
A. Participate anyway! You can STILL win!
We're giving away eight gift cards for dicethrone.com! And to keep things fun for everyone, half of these will be awarded by popular vote and the other half to random entries. It doesn't matter whether you can or can't draw the correct number of fingers on a hero's hand. Everyone gets a chance to win!
So download one of the blanks below (or design your own), break out your crayons, paints, or pixel editors, and submit your entry TODAY!
A. While Marvel Dice Throne is compatible with the entire Dice Throne ecosystem (and does include hero tokens), miniatures are not part of Marvel Dice Throne.

Issue #13 - Friday Night Fights Round 2! "King of the Hill" Battle Mode Showcased!

Last Friday's battles were AMAZING, and gave us our first taste of many of the Marvel Dice Throne heroes! This week, Derek & Lizzy from Board Game Spotlight are back, to match the previous winners against all-new challengers, and as an added bonus, we're going to have all three of Marvel Dice Throne's designers in a 3 player match, to showcase the popular "King of the Hill" version of the game.

Today, to give everyone some insights into the finer points of Marvel Dice Throne mechanics, we're going to address some of the more interesting rules questions that have come up during streaming and late-stage playtesting:
Q. Does Black Panther gain Kinetic Energy when hit by an Ultimate Ability?
A. Because defending players cannot use any abilities while an Ultimate Ability is being resolved against them, the answer is no. (Additionally, once the dice are locked in andwhile the Ultimate Ability is being resolved, other damage-dealing effects could be used against Black Panther andwould not trigger Kinetic Energy, such as Thor's Mjolnir token.)
Q. If Loki prevents half damage from an attack with an Illusion, then uses a second Illusion that says he takes full damage, does that cancel the effect of the first Illusion?
A. No, the first Illusion still prevents half of the damage. (The wording on this has been updated from earlier versions, to make this more clear.)
Q. If Black Widow's Agility or Loki's Illusions cut incoming damage in half twice, does that let the defender avoid all the damage, or only 3/4 of it?
A. All of the damage would be stopped. (This works similarly to existing Dice Throne effects such as Protect, and some defensive abilities.)
Q. If Scarlet Witch's opponent is using one of her dice due to Reality Warp, can she use Probability Manipulation to affect the value of that die?
A. No, because Probability Manipulation can only affect her dice, and the die is (temporarily) no longer hers.
